Commonly Replaced Trampoline Parts

Trampolines undergo the usual wear and tear you can expect when stored outside and used frequently.  To keep yours in top notch shape here are the most commonly replaced trampoline parts you should know about.

Trampoline Mats - A good trampoline mat provides springiness, and over time as it is used it will naturally loosen up.  Replacing a mat can turn a tired worn out trampoline back into the springy one it used to be.

Trampoline Pads - Over time the padding around your trampoline will settle and stiffen up.  Replacing your trampoline padding is a must when this happens, as little protection is provided from a pad that has lost its softness.

Trampoline Springs - Springs are an important part of your trampolines bounce factor.  They will slowly stretch over time and lose their tension, when this happens you will notice a slightly less bounce to your trampoline.  When you notice your not getting as much air as you used to, a new set of springs will get you back up there in no time.

Trampoline Net - If you have an enclosure around your trampoline then you probably understand why the netting needs to be replaced every year or so.  People will fall into it, grab it to hoist themselves up, and often jump into it.  Be sure to keep tabs on the condition of your netting, as over time it will get the usual tears and stretches with use.  The net is your safety barrier, so replacing it when you feel its usefulness has been compromised is always a good idea.

Replacing these parts can restore your trampoline to the way it was when you first got it.  Take care of it and it will continue to provide the excitement and fun you've come to love.
